Raves and PLUR

Techno, bright flashing lights, candy kids walking around in beads carrying glowsticks and everyone of them with a headful of a number of mind altering substances. Exstacy is the most accesable of them all, which is why it doesn't suprise me that the word PLUR came into existance. PLUR, for all of you who aren't in the know, is an acranym standing for Peace Love Unity Respect. I like plur, it makes the whole rave scene feel like a family, which it is in an odd sort of way. An underground family constantly on the move and always with an eye over the shoulder looking for the friendly local police officers. There is also alot of LSD floating around the scene, so anyone with a strong liking for heavy doses of insanity should love a rave, 'cause thats where all the freaks come to play. I mean there are some real nutty looking folks up at those things, but hey, might as well accept them, thats what PLUR is all about. :-)
