(pronounced hazeborough!) A small sleepy village on the North Norfolk coast in England. Famous for a lighthouse that was painted once by Anika Rice for a TV program. Infamous for a very unfortunate murder of a young boy called Thomas Marshall in 1997.
I've never met anyone who lives here who was born here; everyone else seems to have moved here and are therefore 'foreigners' (Norfolkese for people not born and bred in Norfolk, even to the degree that if you are born in one village, but move to another, you are still considered with distrust!). The common thread running through all inhabitants lives is a slight dislike of tourists (aka Grockles) even though a sizeable proportion of the village's economy is based on the tourist trade.
