Si Prefixes

In the world of science things are not always as they seem. You might see a reading like "2kV" and another like "2000V". If I were to ask which one is bigger, you would probably say "2000V", but in fact they are both the same.
The whole point of having Si units is to make calculations much easier for scientists. Here is a definitive list of all the Si units there are:
