The Maldives

Don't go to the Maldives.
A string of tiny coral islands about 800 miles left of Sri Lanka.
The sea is deep, blue, clear, full of exotic fish and just made for snorkling or if a bit braver than me scuba diving.
The sky is bright blue and a gentle breeze takes some of the ferocity from the sun.
The people are welcoming.
The news is 2 days old.
The food ><> is excellent though a bit expensive in the resorts.
The resorts have a 9 meter beach per 2 guest rule to keep the Germans in check.
and if we all carry on buring carbon the sea will rise and swallow them.
and its all horrid horrid horrid 'cos we had to come home.:-(
