Speaking of bubbly...i remember drinking champagne and berrocca once at an (obviously )drunken breakfast

oooooh, yum! reminds me of my post-graduation celebration. Champagne and strawberry breakfast

(then we all loped off to Maccas when we realised that strawbs weren't really a satisfying breakfast)

Unfortunately the only poetry i can do is rather Dr Suess-ish.

I was scared off by the ability of the muses

Dr Seuss
Is no Meuss
but just as scary
to the unwary

The Lorax still stands.
The Cat in the Hat is back.
My green eggs are cold.

Inspiration brings
Synthesis of unlikely
free verse and life forms!

Blinded by Haiku
Takes champagne glass in hand
And drinks deep from it

*Grabs yet another glass (full)*

Drink deep and enjoy
The verse is as fresh as are
the rising bubbles.

I never have really
got the hang of
this haiku writing

Five syllables are
in first line, then seven in
second, then five last!


*Glug*
*Falls off stool in silent Zen-like manner*

You must be careful;
The second line fills up quick,
And it's nearly impossible to judge the third one right.
