Pet hairs are a pain. We used to have a large black dog (who sadly passed away in September after jealousy-generatingly long and active life). We came to the conclusion that it'd be far quicker to vacuum him than the house to get rid of the hairs, but he didn't take to it too well. He was never too fond of baths, either.

Likewise, I used to have a German Short-Haired Pointer, and her hair used to get into everything... Now we just have rabbits, and they stay outside most of the day.
