Sort of... I mentioned something in a forum about that christmas song twelve days of christmas or something - and they used it!
I didn't know they were going to do that.

You said it!
I have also bee so good and made a contribution to the Book Nook's bestsellerlist. Now I just have to find a similar list from another non-English country. I know there's a cute french guy here somewhere....
I think the idea is to see what people read in different countrys.

*Looks out the window * Snow-storm. I think I'll settle down on the sofa with a glass of wine and my new Nevada Barr -book.
Yes. Best idea I've had for ages.

I agree...
And how come you get to have snow storms? I've NEVER had a snow storm, and you get one, and decide to ignore it. NOT FAIR!

Either that or head to Canada of the middle of America in the winter, I'm sure that will make you think twice about wnating loads of snow. This from a guy once snowed in for four days in Scotland.

There was a Malaysian(sp?) guy in my halls at uni, he had never seen snow before. So one February morning when all was white he got overly excited and demanded to go out and play. We just all sat there with the coffee and said that snow only ment that it was cold out.

I experienced the same with Koreans. Infact I ended up having to take one to hospital because he slipped on some ice, because he was wearing inappropriate footwear, and he twisted an ankle.

I have appropriate footwear. I have really good thick glovesd. I just want the chance to go sledging, throw snowballs at the people I know, and build a snowman. Just because you lot have there's no need to mock someone who never has.
And I'd love to go ski-ing, except that I'm broke. Unless it costs £2:50 or less, I can't afford it.

Maybe you could find a virtual ski-resort Bluebottle. A place where it's allways clear crisp sky, lots of snow
all silky and soft, hot chocolate, and funky afterskiing.....
In the real world it's like this:
During the night the weather changed to rain so now everything is covered with slippery slugde all
wet, cold and nasty and garantied to soak you when you fall. Not if - it's when.

There's a virtual ski-slope on my beach, you know.
Have you been there?
