Can I have a drink too, please?

It is so irritating when you try to hold a deacent (deesent, deicent, oh blast) conversation with someone and h2g2 eats the postings!
Think I'm in the mood for a Grumpfuttock now.
-B-
Haven't had a cigarett since monday....

Have a cigar - it's not cheating, and far more satisfying.

Thanks for covering, Ormy, I'll have a Grumpfuttocks to celebrate having returned from the bank with 'Brass in Pocket'. Good word BTW Joanna

There you go, BS.
Money! Yes, I remember that! I think I might even have had some once...
(Pours self consoling )

What's even more difficult is putting up with the taste of the stuff.

There you go, folks! |_|
Er... Pardon my ignorance, but what's a "contact hour"? It sounds a bit rude!

I don't want to know - I'm too innocent.
And I've done my Article of the Week!
(Ormondroyd - do you know who the people on the front of Band on the Run are? I don't recognise them - yet no-one says as they assume you would recognise them. Not my fault I wasn't alive in 1973...)

Ormondroyd Posted Feb 25, 2000
I haven't actually got a copy of "Band On The Run" to consult, but from memory they included Michael Parkinson, Christopher Lee, John Conteh (a famous boxer of the time) and Kenny Lynch (singer/comedian). Next time I'm in a record shop I'll have a look and see who else I can recognise.

Thanks for the help! I'll include it in my article. If you'd like, I can put a link here.

Yes please!
Actually, thinking about it some more, I seem to remember that Clement Freud (politician and all-purpose TV personality) was on there too.
Key: Complain about this post
