Hair: The Comb Over
Created | Updated Jan 28, 2002
A hair style that indicates the person wearing it has difficulty accepting reality. It is only ever seen on those who are balding on top and its apparent purpose is to hide that fact, while actually highlighting it.
The style is achieved quite simply. Grow the hair on one side of the bald spot until it is at least a 1/2 inch longer than the bald spot is wide, then simply comb it straight over the top of the bald spot.
Note that any activity that may dislodge the longer hair (swimming, running and the like) is liable to produce even more hilarity than the hairstyle itself.
