Why do some shoes pull your socks off?

2 Conversations

Just curious if anyone out there..can explain why some shoes pull your socks off when you walk in them.

I have a perfectly good pair of Reeboks...but no matter what socks I wear with them..after a few hundred feet of walking..my socks are almost half off my feet. I know it has to be the shoes and not the socks..because I can wear the same socks in another pair of shoes and they stay on my feet just fine.

I've had a few pairs of shoes since the Reeboks..currently a pair of Nikes...they were fine for 3 months.. but just recently.. one shoe has started puling the sock off... not as quickly as the Reeboks did.. but it's still annoying to have to frequently stop and pull up my sock...
