Hi and Welcome to the first edition of the h2g2 POST. We are here to inform you of what is going on, in and around h2g2. Help Pages for the new and old researchers alike. We also would like to hear from you - If you see something of interest then be our reporter and let us know here(link) - Now just sit down and enjoy a quiet minute read your very own community Newspaper.
Jim is working very hard at this time to speed up the very slow pace this site works at. One of his ideas is to cut down the amount of time it takes to post to a forum. One way may be to cut down the amount of Posts that need to be downloaded before you can reply by only showing the last four.
An option to download all the forum postings would also be available with a separate option. It is this option that is causing a delay in applying this faster method but when it is implemented, it should be a great deal faster to post to fellow researchers.
It is not a very well known fact that if you click on the forum name link in the left hand box, you will have the forum displayed FULL PAGE. A very much easier way to read, especially if it is a long posting.
