Calvin and Hobbes

0 Conversations

Calvin and Hobbes is a classic comic strip. It portrays humanity very well, especially in our formative and parental years. I doubt that there are many people who cannot relate to it. Bill Waterson captures the essence of a child growing up, and the ordeals of a parent helping that child to grow. It is unfortunate that he no longer enlightens us with the exploits of Calvin (and friend Hobbes). However, he has good reason. Just pick up "The Calvin and Hobbes Tenth Anniversary Book" to understand.

FYI, there are 14 CandH books. They are all worth picking up. The 5 compilations contain added poetry and imagery that are well worth while.
