Parking in the City of Plymouth UK

1 Conversation

If you are coming to Plymouth just for the day, and think you can park your car cheaply forget it! We have a good "park and ride" system and this is by far the cheapest. Parking in Plymouth is at a premium even for residents now and almost ALL streets are restricted. In addition, nearly all public parking is VERY expensive (up to £8-00 per day....) and the
instant fines are quite high too at £60-00. There is some private parking at Charles roundabout at £4-00 per day if it's not full! NOT!!! The site in question has been demolished this very week. The good side is that Plymouth's main shopping area is very accessable and close to the other major attractions. In addition, also on Charles roundabout, there is a lending facility for disabled visiters to hire wheelchairs and buggies at very good rates.
