This might help in a no way out - situation

If you're ever caught up in a no way out - situation, the following way of thinking might help.
Some days ago I went to the top of a mountain.
Standing on the top, admiring the view, 3500 feet above sealevel, a bear approached. I feared for my life, trembling.
I then climbed up in a birch, and we all know that bears don't climb trees. I was safe.
I'm aware of the fact that no trees grow above the timberline, which here in Norway is to be found at 2400 feet altitude, but what the hell could I do?
