Dalmatians don't exist

I need proof and I need it now.
Dalmatians clearly don't exist.
Has anyone ever seen one in the park or peeing against a lamppost at the end of your garden path?
Obviously not... they don't exist.
Sure the newspapers run an amusing 'Look at the Fat Dalmatian' or 'Fat Dalmatian Saves Newsagent in Runaway Toboggan Incident'. But these could only be either disguised generic dogs or computer simulations made only for the above mentioned stories.
It is my belief that the myth of the Dalmatian was manufactured for the Disney animation and people were just too embarrassed to ask if anyone else had ever come across one.
I remain to be convinced but after years of diligent research all help would be gratefully received.
