Stuff

Stuff is an interesting word. Originally, stuff meant mearly "material" or "matter." These days, it has come to mean junk, things, crud, etc. It could mean almost any collection of objects or other mixed or unmixed bags.
Stuff.
It's not very descriptive, is it? Yet we hear it all over. This seems to be a general trend. The less descriptive something is, the more often it's used. The descriptiveness of a word is inversely proportional to the amount of useage it gets.
In other words, the word "stuff" is not going to be very useful, but it's trendy, so use it often and redundantly!
