Shepherds Bush is a district of London named for the fact that it was once the stopping off
point for shepherds bringing their flocks to a london market. The remnants of shepherds Bush green still remain today.
Shepherds Bush is famous for several things.
1) The Shepherds Bush empire is a venue for London pop concerts and bingo!
2) The BBC. The british Broadcasting Corporation has its Television Centre just north of Shepherds Bush, in White City.
3) Shepherds Bush is the home of Alex McLintock
