The Resident Evil Series is a compilation of survival horror games available on the PSX, and also the PC. Other versions and new products are also liscensed to Nintendo and Sega. Resident Evil 1 was intially released in 1994 as a PSX release. Over the next few years the popularity of this game spawned a sequel and also many merchandising aspects (toys, comics, and even a film which is on its way).
