The Unbearable Lightness of Bing

0 Conversations

Bing Crosby was insufferably cheerful. Even when everything was going wrong for him, such as when he was making a tacky Christmas song with a thin white Englishman or dying on a golf course, he never lost his sunny disposition. Many found this hard to cope with and referred to it as The Unbearable Lightness of Bing, a concept subsequently stolen by an exiled Czech writer and converted into an enjoyable if pretentious pseudo-intellectual novel.
