Right, now we have to think of something to discuss on this forum.
Fist let me tell you about yesterday at work. I was in charge of the coffee-machines at breakfast, which was one hell of a joib considering we had 700 people in and the cups and saucers, plus sugar, tea-bags, milk etc all needed to be replaced manually. Anyhow, afterwards did a coffee run to the arts centre, where the guests were having meetings. So they finished breakfast at 9 and needed more coffee at 10:30.
Finished that and then basically had to sit around until 1pm when dinner was served. I was put on the juicew machines for that, which again needed constant attention. At one point one of the guests shouted "Can I have you're attention for one minute." and even though this was to the guests and not staff we have been taught to stop as well so he can make his speech without the sounds of the staff working interfering. Anyhow, I was sadly carrying a bucket full of 10 litres of orange squash at this time which is not an easy time to suddenly stop what you are doing. But I did so and the speaker got all the guests to give the staff a round of appluase, which was nice. I was also thank personally by half a dozen of them.
Finally working at dinner in the evening I was on the door, which means checking that the people going into the restaurant hadwere actually the ones we were expecting and keeping count of the number of people going in. We had 23 people in an hour, with 18 coming in within 15 minutes of the door opening, it was boring.
What did you do wiht yourself yesterday, and do you have any interesting plans for the week.

I read M.H. for most of the day, and went out for an hour wlak with my parents.. which was not a good idea since my stomach decided this was a good time to hurt. And my leg. And my ankle. Aaaand my throat. But as soon as we got home, all the pains stopped. Ahh the joys of being me. But still I wouldn't want to be anyone else.

You sound as if you are allergic to walks. A complaint my sister has been trying to prove she has for most of her life.

This is obviously a girl thing if you need to resort to whispers.

But as my sister has been like that since birth, I think that your guess maybe inaccurate in this case.

Ok, well it's no worse than in the wash up where we played frisby using 3 plastic lids simultaneously. No one was as impressed as me when I managed to catch one lid one handed and a few seconds later use the other hand to catch a second. It's a shamer there were three really.
BTW, catching your orange in time to what?

Head, meet lid. lid, head. Get the idea, fortunately as it was a plaztic thing it didn't hurt and so we all just had a good laugh at the irony of it all.
Funny how an incorrectly placed full stop completely changed the meaning of what you said.

(as sports commentator) "yes aaand he catches the first frisbee in his right hand. Annnd yes I think he's caught the second one in his left. What's gonna happen? Yep I think he's gonna.. Oh no, and he's down. The paramedics are in, there goes Colin Trump, disqualified from the first round. What a shame, he caught those first two so beautifully."

*laughs* you pictured the scene perfectly there, except for the he's down and the paramedic bit of course.

Besides which it would be embarrassing having to explain to the boss why I needed to go to hospital in the middle of my shift, before any washing up had actually been done.
