Name: Amelia Domingo
Class:Green - School of Healing
Upage:5373890
Familiar: A dog, species appears to be a cross between a border collie and a golden retriever, with the collies fur but the overall appearance and golden colouring of the retriever.
Appearance:

Amelia has long blonde hair which goes down to her shoulders, but is often tied into a bun shape in order to keep it out of her Jade green eyes. These features look soemwhat strange on the lightly olive skin tone than Amelia was born with and many people belive she dyes her hair. She is quite tall and has a medium frame, with toned and moderately built muscles. She has little fat on her body, showing a body many would only gain from rigid excercise and healthy eating.

Her face is ovular and generally shows a light, happy expression, however if she ever needs to fight, the same face will show an aggressive and potent appearance that could strike fear in children.

Extra Abilities:

Cook:- amelia has been known as a gifted chef and been able to make the most luxurious tasting meals from the same ingredients used by the poor and common people for their apparently "bland" food. Although not proven, it is rumoured she can even use normally poisonous foods to make healthy and filling meals.

Stalwart:- Amelia can resist a variety of poisons among other things, no doubt due to the fact she will often taste small amounts of poisons, in order to learn to sense them by taste and smell as well as gaing a slow immunity to them.

Weapons:

Amelia is a potent user of the Quaterstaff, and fights with it with what could be described as "The heart of a warrior."

She also is mildly proficient in the use of daggers, however has only learned the techniques required for self defense, since she would onyl use a dagger if her quaterstaff was knocked away or if she had been all but defeated.

Armor:

Amelia uses no armour, finding even the lightest of armours too claustrophobic to move freely. She also finds it hinders her when healing people, although this is more personal irritation than a physical problem with wearing armour.

Other: There was only a stream near her family's home and has never had the chance to learn how to swim, she is an accomplished climber however and has a reasonable resistance to being pushed around.

History:

Amelia was born as the eldest of five siblings, the second eldest of whom suffered from a rare disorder, which few understood and apparently healers couldn't cure.

Her family were poor, and living on a farm in the middle of knowhere meant Amelia knew how to work hard. She learned how to care for the animals like her father did, and sow the seeds and care for the plants like her mother. She enjoyed watching them care for their crops and animals, and she enjoyed growing up surrounded by caring people. Lucy, her sister with the disorder, was slower than the rest and Amelia took it upon herself to care for Lucy and bring her up, she became her unofficial carer, which her mother had previously done. She also shares this job with her next eldest sibling, Avid.

Her brother Ashrath (5 years younger) and her youngest sister Jonna (6 years younger) lead more care free lives, although all helping with the farm, none of the caring Lucy required fell on their backs.

Amelia has, from a young age, had a taste for food. She used to play games with her mum by tasting a sauce and guessing the ingredients used. This progressed to the stage where she could use almost any ingredient to make a flavoursome meal. She also has an intensive knowledge of poisons gained from her many experiements as a child. And after eatng small amounts of the poisons, her body has created an immunity and resistance to most.

She also became adept at using staves from a young age, using long sticks as a weapon to scare away foxes which wanted to eat her chickens. She trained with her father, whom trained himself how to use a stave. BVecause of this, Amelia's style when using the Quaterstaff is different from most, although she has learned the Guild style, sometimes she will use less conventional methods.

When Amelia was fourteen, a magician came to their farm. She had been injured and was very weak. Amelia didn't know that the woman was a magician until her mother noticed the green robes the magician wore, realising she was a Healer magician.

Amelia used her knowledge of herbs and plants to create a partially useful ointment that she placed on the healers wounds and then covered with a bandage. Years on a farm had gotten Amelia used to fixing cuts and scrapes.

When the magician came to, she revealed that she had been helping with a birth in a nearby cottage (nearby meaning only a mile or so) and had been ambushed by an Ogre before she could return to Imardin. Her horse had been killed and presumably eaten by the ogre.

The magician, called Lady Qullian, found a reasonable magical potential in Amelia, and asked her to come to Imardin to train. Finding it tough to say goodbye to Lucy and elave her family, Amelia innitially refused, until her parents almost forced her to go.

When she reached Imardin, she was undecisive over which Discipline she wished to study. But a wish to cure Lucy and an enjoyment for life over death, made her choose Healing, although becoming a caretaker had been a possibility too until she made her decision.

Her time as an apprentice flew by quickly, due to her knowledge of bandages gained from life on the farm all she had to learn was mind to mind communication and simple self defence with magic. She was noticed by many with her resiliant nature and good will, and become a Novice quickly.
