Ninth Doctor Novels

Doctor Who, the long running british Sci-Fi show, returned to our screens back in 2005. The BBC decided with the new series to also release a new series of books. These Books would take place with in slots of the TV series.

These books are all Hardbacks and have about 250 pages of writing inside. The characters are The Doctor and Rose (as played by Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper) with Captain Jack joining later on (as played by John Barrowman). Plus Mickey Smith (as played by Noel Clarke) stars in Winner Takes All.

The first three books are...
1. The Clockwise Man by Justin Richards
2. The Monsters Inside by Stephen Cole (the 2005 series episode Boom Town makes a reference to the Doctor and Rose's trip to the Justicia system making it the first direct reference to adventures outside the TV series)
3. Winner Takes All by Jacqueline Rayner
These were all published together in May. They are belived to be set between World War Three and Dalek.

All these had Captain Jack in...
4. The Deviant Strain by Justin Richards
5. The Stealers of Dreams by Steve Lyons
6. Only Human by Gareth Roberts
The latter three books were published in September and would be the last due to Christopher Eccleston leaving the series. They then went to be the Tenth Doctor Series Novels. However many see them as been in the same range. These Books are belived to be set between The Doctor Dances and Bad Wolf.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
