Castlevania

One of the most addictive video game series one
could scrape up on the planet, would have to
be the Castlevania series. The premise is always
simple: fight your way through a castle, wielding
a whip against the perils of undead and defeating
the unholy Nihilist absurdist, Count Dracula.
The games are noteworthy for their dark gothic
atmosphere, intense action and great music
(characterized by largely stacatto melodies and
dramatic attacks). The series has been around for
fifteen years, having its origin on the 8-bit Nintendo
system. Most of the games are level based,
with the exception of a few advernture orientated
titles. A long, but non-comprehensive list follows.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
