Chappaqua, NY

Have you ever seen the television program "Beverly Hills:90210"? good! Now take that show, put it on the east coast and make it whiter...Welcome to Chappaqua! Actually its a lovely place, the houses are large and spacious, the down-town is small, quaint, and absurdly overpriced, and the school system is excellent. Locals over the age of 20 tend to leave town as much as possible on nights and weekends, locals under the age of 20 tend to spend their nights and weekends taking as much advantage of this absence as possible. The entire local police department is primarly engaged in chasing around the youthful populace from one party to another and largely has no other duties what-so-ever. The one thing that everyone gets together for is dinner at the local japanesse resteraunt takayama. If one is willing to pay the price, one can eat extremely good food, in the company of people who can afford it a great deal more than you can. While dining, you can encounter 'anyone who is anyone' or more likely, everyone looking for anyone who is anyone, realising that no one really is one. In conclusion, a horrible place to visit...but you might want to live there.
