the living of extraterrestrians in the canalisation of new york

I had originally planned to talk about pens, but instead I am troubled by the matter of survival on foreign planets. Now, I am originally from some little unnamed planet in the middle of sweet-diddly-nowhere, but I was raised on Earth. Having been around the galaxy at least twice, I can say I am appalled by the welcome I recieve on some planets! Besides the common decency to be kind to visitors (or at least NICE), you would think they would respect someone from such a wholly remarkable book as the HHGTTG! And look at the hippos!
