I've been reading the Yahoo emails and do indeed broadcast occasionally via Shoutcast and WinAmp.

I can't reply on the Yahoo group because it wants to know my inside left leg measurement else it won't let me in. I tried the AViators forum from the website but was told it's not found. Please set it up again: forums widdle on email groups from such a great height the widdle's pretty much steam by the time it reaches 'em.

Anyway, setting up a Shoutcast channel does, I think, cost money. I'm pretty sure the BBC should have the facilities to take a feed from a user and broadcast it to the masses without needing to invoke a third party such as Shoutcast but it's doubtful they'd be up for using the tiny proportion of our license fee that this would entail.

Basically, I have done it on another site but we chip in for the Shoutcast server. I don't think it would be worth it for the usage intended here, unless the facility could be hired for the period of the broadcast.

I think the E-Mails got a bit all of a sudden at the same time a thinggy.... err there oughta be somethign like a single word that means that... But I guess there isn't... think we're alright now though
