I am confused. The updates take me everywhere, a lot of dial up time. Eventually it bringed me to a photo-video of things that were confusing. The 'Beeblecast' thing. The bit about the birds was good. The softly singing girl was nice. I am very certain that you are all very proud of what ever it is. I will try another day to make sense of it. Good luck with what ever you are trying to do.

Ooo dialup I guess the files are fairly big so the dialup would take a bit to get them loaded up It mighten not have been you which broked it Lil, as part of my job I work profesionally at breaking web sites (I believe the technical term is 'tester' )

I'm sorry if dial up is a disadvantage with Beeblecast.

And sorry you haven't been able to enjoy it properly.

AViators, Beeblecast and Audio are all new to us, and we are very excited about being able to use this technology in h2g2. However, this does not change the main areas of the site.

If you follow the link to 'Subscribe in iTunes', the videos will download to your computer in the background while you're doing other stuff. You can then watch them later, at your leisure.

Alternatively, copy and paste the URL given there into some other podcast downloader/feed reader (Juice is the only other name that comes to mind, but there are plenty of others).

The problem with this is that you may have to download iTunes (or whatever other program you choose to use) first. And that might take some time.
