Great video clip nevertheless.

It's low-resolution, to save me a load of uploading time at 3am. This version is only 25Mb, whereas the final one will be 100Mb.

I've just finished reworking 'Bacon Sandwich' as well, and the new and brilliant version will be on my YouTube as soon as the upload is complete

I see there are a lot more walks on your account (haven't yet watched them). I'm surprised I wasn't notified, as I'm subscribed to your account.

The audio commentary is quite large on the editing; disproportionately so, in fact. What I'll do is resize them so they bear more of the loss in quality when I upload it next.

That is odd - I thought you'd be notified if you're subscribed. I don't know why you wouldn't be, though I've never subscribed to anything on YouTube.

That's what I thought - where's the sense in subscribing if you don't get notified? I'll have to recheck my emails, in case I missed one telling me to renew the subscription or something.

It's weird now that it has sound.

I managed to get it synchronised with the background music; I had something more complex in mind, but I can't get bacon to dance. I don't think I'll be able to get it much better...

Sorry, I did understand what you meant! I was just bemoaning the fact that some things are just too technical even for me to work out

It's a fantastic clip, and one of my favourites - together with the cartoon bird.

The old cartoon bird is a popular one, isn't it? I remember when Supermoo did the Entry, she had real trouble in describing how to do the drawing without using lots of graphics. When we restarted, I remembered that Entry, and the clip has now been seen over 1,000 times between the two accounts

- that's a lot.

And the Entry is now sixth on Google for searches of 'cartoon bird', so there must have been a number of hits back from the clip.

Who knows the ways of google? I recently looked for - I forgot which word it was, but one of my two entries that are currently in PR came up third on google.

I'm realising the limitations of Nero now. If you want to make a DVD it's fine, as you have plenty of memory to play with, but if you want to make a clip 30Mb or so in size it's a pain. If you make commentary, it saves it in wav format - you don't get a choice - and this means that when you export it to an mpg you lose masses of detail in the images. The only way I can change this is to redo all my audio through Audacity and then paste it back, which is going to take flipping ages. I'm looked for new video editor; perhaps one that actually gives you some options for this sort of thing...

I think if you're notified of all your YouTube subscriptions once a week, which could explain the delay.
