I'll help. I have a few DV cameras, a crummy studio and sequencing software. I can do 'not very good' animations. I also write music and would love to write some music for hootoo. That said I think a lot of the musicians guild would. You should go ask them...

Must dash, I have a flamenco/hip-hop gig to attend smiley - weirdsmiley - run

I am the master of the one finger keyboard bassline!

I write/sequence/produce/fiddle-incessantly with electronic music. I never really saw the need for actual musicians: I have an orchestra of shiny boxes that go beep, whoosh, chakachaka, woooorp, boing, gribble etc.

It is. smiley - smiley

For instance, take the sound of one goat or sheep (made of a rapid succession of plosive 'ah' sounds) pitch this sound down by two octaves and you have the sound of the most evil laugh in the world...

Although I tend to spend too much time with my nose pressed against virtual shop windows smiley - drooling over very, very expensive things I don't need.

Aha. Can't say I myself waste my time like that - I don't even look into real shop windows - which always proves as a mistake when customers ask for something they've seen in our shop window. I have to go out and look what they mean. smiley - laugh

I know a shop keep who does that. smiley - laugh I think it adds to the experience.

I think the big 'no no' for shop keepers is a forgetfulness in regards to what their products cost in conjunction with a susceptibility to haggling.smiley - evilgrin

Disregard Rich's last post, the first post is correct. It's a yahoo group with a yahoo email - I used it only today.
Except you've created a group on gmail that I don't know anything about, Rich?

The Googlemail address is correct for invites, as if you email the group as a non-member it won't go through. We have a Googlemail account for administration and to receive comments, not that we've had any yet. So h2g2aviators[at]googlemail[dot]com it is smiley - ok

I haven't mailed the doodad yet as I'm at work and I keep being distracted by the aforementioned beeping devices... I do note however that in PR there is an entry called 'The lost chord' A29651439 that could seriously benefit from some music. It was written over 100 years ago (smiley - dohthe music, not the entry)so I belive there is no copyright extant for the score. I could do a synth version of the theme.

What think you?
