| Before Giles came to Sunnydale he was in Oxford Uni in the U.K where he met Ethan Rayne where both of them started doing black magic Giles Created a Demon on which Ethan nicked named Giles, Ripper. Giles tried to get rid of the Demon on which he did not before he lost a good friend from Oxford, Giles then worked in the Britsh Musiem for a while and Ethan went his on way. While Giles was working for the Britsh musiem he desided to follow in his family footsteps become a watcher he was then transfered to the Sunnydale High School to be a watcher to a slayer called Buffy Summers.
