Kidderminster

Whether this is a matter to be proud of is open to debate. Much of the town centre used to be
taken up by carpet factories, ut most have now been closed to make way for empty buildings.
During the summer months, many people drive through Kidderminster on there way to the West Midlands
Safari Park. Why they do this is beyond me. There must be a reason....
Kidderminster is also one of the stations on the Severn Valley Railway, which is a delightful use
of a length of rail track that would otherwise just be abandoned as unfeasable to run. Of course,
being a steam train line, the tickets cost so much that you only really go for the journey, not the destination.
The only problem is that some people take the whole thing too seriously. Another of those mysteries of life
