How to Get Lost

Have you ever been told to get lost?
Try it. It's fun.
It is a new method of travel philosophy. Take a town or city you now reasonably well, take as many wrong turns as possible, go down some side alleys and get thoroughly lost. You can even do this in your own city, if you live somewhere like London, although note the word "like," as in some parts of London going down those side alleys might not be so good an idea. However, a fundamental part of this philosophy is that the second best things in life are free. To use an example of a major city, in two hours waiting for some photos to develop in York you can be the sole visitor to and be given guided tours of: an experimental art project done entirely in violin strings and hanging from the ceiling of Saint Mary's, York (the 3rd smallest church in all of York), the York museum garden philosophical society Observatory (and be allowed to view the sun through it's telescope), and many more. Please, try it youself and write a reply to this explaining what you have done. Encourage others to get lost, and you could end up having one of the most unforgettable experiences of your life.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
