Ah well, I certainly don't want to disrupt the 'dross', which is presumeably the catch-word-du-jour. 'Inane' having run it's course.
Do have fun.

Oh, there's nothing better than a bit of inane chatter - all the fun we're having keeps us young and healthy.

I find that face-to-face interaction with real people, manual and productive labours, and quality time with family keep me young and healthy. But what-ever works for you, I won't interfere.
Play on ...

*wonders why he always feels the need to spoil things?*
I have just spent a weekend making more RL friends out of my Hootoo Friends.. I have even met their family's.
Isn't that something you intend doing in a few weeks time

There's always the potential for combination catch phrases
Inane dross has such a ring to it, dont'ya think?
Well B'El, do you remember when I was a shy, retiring newbie and I came to you for help with this?

Flattery will get you nowhere. Especially the undeserved sort.
It's funny, as a freshly-minted newbie I was hesitant to join debates. The Forum I found quite intimidating. Then someone said something incredibly dense and it was like, "yee-hah" and the floodgates opened. But it went too far and got to the point that I wasn't listening to other researchers. Often I'd re-read threads and think, "Why was I arguing - I agree with him!!".
So now, I type huge replies but then delete them after previewing.
So I suppose my good deed HooToo-wise, is taking the time to listen.

I like helping people to setting into Hootoo.
I would never enter The Forum, it's too serious and argumentative in there for me.
I use my serious side for my Guide Entries.
I know I can be a bit snappy if I am protecting my newbies..

Did I anywhere say that I don't have inane chatter with family, colleagues, customers and friends in RL?
And what do you mean: play on? Do we need your permittance to talk on here as we like? Somebody should have told me.
I remember when you came and asked me to help you with this, SWL. I never found out why you asked me of all people here, though.
I don't remember you being shy and retiring.
