Sugar has been found to be sweet.
It comes in many forms, such as powdered, granulated, crystallized, and cubed, in either brown or white.
Critics of sugar will cite examples like that of tooth decay to set people against sugar. These critics are either your parents or the dentists of the world.
Sugar looks very much like salt. DO NOT CONFUSE THE TWO. This is very important. No matter how similar they may look, they are worlds apart in taste. Salt is not sweet. To avoid confusion in restaurants, sugar is either in packets or in a much larger container than the salt shaker. Some restaurants do not even have a form of sugar on their tables. Boycott these restaurants.
Another thing not to confuse is sugar and 'artifical sweeteners.' They will usually both come in packets. Just remember:sugar packets are white, imitations are blue or pink packets, and the 'substance' in the packets tastes faintly odd. They will sometimes have a warning that they could cause cancer. As in, "if we feed rats twenty times their body weight of this stuff, they sometimes get cancer." This should not usually be a problem for most humans, depending on how much you actually plan to eat.
Apart from eating pure sugar, the most popular form is that of candy. Candy is basically sugar, only with artifical flavorings and colorings.
Sugar has not been recognized as an illegal substance as of yet so eat as much as possible while you still can.
