Jamiroquai

Jamiroquai is an Acid Jazz, funk band. Their four albums are all teriffic indications of their skills as musicians. They have beats and lyrics that will keep them going well into the next millenium, with Jay K's voice driving the band and the guitar riffs and bass lines following him into the song.
The band formed in the early 90's, and released a single called 'When You Gonna Learn?', which became a hit. They were signed to Sony and released their first album called 'Emergency on planet Earth.' A year or so later their second album, 'The Return of the Space Cowboy' was released and was another hit in the UK. When their 3rd album, 'Traveling Without Moving' was released in 1996, it was their first album to make moves in the US, with the hit singles 'Virtual Insanity,' 'Alright,' and 'High Times.' In 1998, they contributed a track to the soundtrack to the movie 'Godzilla,' titled Deeper Underground. Their latest album, Synkronized, has spawned the single 'Canned Heat.'
