Alyson Lee Hannigan Alyson came into this world on March 24, 1974 in Washington DC. She moved to Atlanta, GA when her parents divorced. Aly's acting career started at the age of 4 when she appeared in adverts for McDonalds and Oreo cookies, amongst others. She studied at the Northside School for Performing Arts, went to high school at Northside Hollywood High, San Fernando Valley, CA and went to California State University where she majored in Psychology. Alyson's first appearance on the big screen came in 1988 film "My Stepmother is an Alien", as Dan Ackroyd's misunderstood daughter. Other apearaces include "Free Spirit", "Switched at Birth", "The Stranger Beside Me" and "A Case of Life", before landing the role of Willow Rosenberg in BtVS in 1998. Since then her career has taken off with many hit movies to her name, such as; "Dead Man on Campus", "Beyond City Limits", "Boys and Girls" and most recently as the band camp geek Michelle Flaherty in the "American Pie" films. Alyson currently lives in L.A. with her 3 dogs, cat and 2 mice. Aly Facts: Has a tattoo of tribal dolphins on her ankle and a Kanji (4 luck and happiness) on her back.Loves fuzzy sweaters. Thinks 'Boobs are funny'. Favourite actors are Steve Buscemi and Jodie Foster, and favourite bands are Coldplay and Travis. She loves Custard Pies. Says that her perfect date is, "Probably a home cooked meal, and good conversation...". In her spare time she enjoys bike riding, kick boxing and is a big Dr. Seuss fan.
