AIM: TO PREVENT THE NEEDLESS SLAUGHTER OF THE ALBATROSSMarie-Louise Rogers (known as Rie to her mates) is not short on academic qualifications - 3 GCE 'A' levels, 6 GCE 'O' levels, a BTEC in Bio Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Maths, a Master of Wine. And all this before we even get to her sailing qualifications!

Her sailing experience is considerable and includes racing in the Round Isle of Wight Race, the Cowes to Cherbourg Race, the Morgan Cup Race, the Myth of Malham (Solent to Torquay), the Cervantes Trophy (Cowes to Ouistreham) and the Fastnet Race.
Marie has done six weeks' cruising around the Caribbean visiting over 15 islands in preparation for Yachtmaster Ocean exam. She's also crewed around the Solent, South Coast of England in preparation for Yachtmaster Power qualification.
