Choral Ghetto

A choral ghetto is an small area, usually the size of a suburb, in which a mass of choristers have all settled habitats - primarily for the purpose of vigorous, unending socialising with each other.
It is not unusual for 'hot spots' to occur wihin these ghettos in which choristers will end up living in such close proximity that it is feasible for small sections of the area to be more-or-less completely controlled by thes choristers - at least for social purposes!
A choral ghetto is easily recognised by the number of interstate visitors regularly moving through, the enormous parties with raucous and yet somewhat in-tune singing and regular mass migrations of sections of the community to rehearsals, concerts, parties and other choral ghettos.
For information about one of the communities spawning lots of choral ghettos, see A1155313.
