I know of something similar, but the clones don't have a nice pre-harvesting life. Think it might be One Of Us by Michael Marshall Smith. In this someone who is responsible for guarding the clones falls for one and breaks her out of the holding facility.

interestingly the chinese have admitted that theyve been using death row inmates for around two thirds of their organ transplants. Given that there are less than a thousand death row inmates and over a billiopn people in the country they must be having serious problems
