I have not seen a single suicide bomber state in his martyrdom video "I do this because the British will not let us practice Sharia family law".
I think this issue is nothing to do with terrorism. Unfortunately, Muslims have been causing so much trouble in the UK with hectoring demands, threats, demonstrations and violence that they have virtually no chance of having even the most reasonable suggestion taken seriously by the public.
Sharia is viewed by many as being deeply misogynistic. To then say that it would only be applied to domestic and family matters reinforces a belief that it is aimed at women.

Saying Sharia is mysogynistic is like saying a bullet to the head "stings a bit".
