As this is a work in progress, can I help?
I'm not exactly the mad Pompey football nut, but I do work there on match days. My bit of the ground is the betting shop under the north stand. (The 'shed of dread', considering how ****ing cold it gets in winter).
Did you know that the area under the North Stand was the site for the first Pompey Beer Festival? Well, you do now. These days it happens at the Guildhall, and this years was particularly good. See you at the next one?
