Ok here we go
The window opened and a slim figure slipped in, it moved silently over to a contol panal on the wall and tapped a series of numbers into it, the alarm deactivated and the figure went over to a painting on the wall. The English were so predictable, it thought>

the painting shone in the gloom behind its thick glass security screen,
she reached out and slowly traced the outline of the face - easy, she thought

She gingerly lifted the painting down and got to work on the safe behind it. she opened the door and grabbed the bunch of papers she had been told was there, as she grabbed them a piece of paper slipped out of a crack in the door. She picked it up and read it,
"Mon dieu" she gasped....
