I thought Jasper Fforde would have come under sci fi but never mind, apparently he's writing a new Thursday Next book as well as a new Jack Spratt. I loved Miss Haversham from the Thursday Next books

we had a discussion about that but i dont read scifi so wanted a thread where i thought jasper fforde would be better suited hes not really scifi is he ?
i loved miss havisham and also the big game hunter thats married to the gorilla ( forgot his name )
the other thing i really love is when thursday comes up against the gremlins like the grammasites and book worms and you get a page of story with no vowels or loads of apostrophes makes me laugh out loud

I haven't read Rachel Caine and I haven't finished The Fourth Bear either, I've been busy knitting and the writing muse (Or Plot Bunny as we fanfic writers like to call them) bit me quite hard so I've been writing as well

Ouch, Knitters/Tennis elbow doesn't sound fun.
I tend to write mainly fan fic, I like to embellish established characters, most of my work is Sci Fi, Stargate Atlantis, X Files and Dr Who

it is very painful and i am loathe to do anything that will bring it back hence the not knitting - i used to knit with fancy wools non of your double knit school jumpers for me - chenille and mohair and kaffee fasset patterns
i'll have a look at your personal space reefgirl if thats ok and read what you write

Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Aug 3, 2006

nothing like gorgeous wool is there ? makes me nostalgic thinking about it - my fave was a midnight blue mohair with copper woven in it - was fabulous - and black chenille
