Bathroom Carpets

Something that the English put on the floor of their bathroom to make it feel warm and absorb any slippery wetness that occurs.
Unfortunately, inaccurate urination by male bathroom users can lead to an extremely unpleasant odour developing in the bathroom after some time. This can be avoided by putting another smaller furry carpet in the area most likely to be hit. This smaller carpet can then be washed when it becomes too unpleasant.
A furry cover on the toilet seat is sometimes added which matches the little mat on the floor but the purpose of this is unclear. One theory is that it is added by females to prevent the toilet seat being left in an open position, however the reason for this is also unclear.
