Gothenburg. (One swedish mile is one swedish kilometer.) If you ever
end up in Alingsås, there are some important things to have in mind.
First of all, you have to be very careful if you are going to drive around
in a car in Alingsås, and that's becase no-one in Alingsås can drive a
car properly. If you want fun, Alingsås is the wrong city to visit, okay,
there are some things that are fun, but not much. There are some
Pubs, and some nice resatarunts, Everything is located at the main
street of Alingsås. Public toilets are located in the center of the city,
they smell bad, but they work. Telephone boots is not a problem in
Alingsås, you will find them everywhere. There is a Library in the city,
with magazines and books written in diffent languanges, and a nice
museum filled with old stuff from Alingsås's earliest years. There is
one big hotel, in the center of the city, if you have to sleep. Yes, only
one hotel. Think of the size of that hotel. There is a small river floating
through Alingsås, do not drink the water from that river. Do not even
take a bath in the river, you will get ichy marks. Do not go near the
damn river. Just look at it from distance if you must see it, maybe if
you are a fan of rivers. Ah well. If you want to relax, there is a place in
Alingsås called Nolhaga. It's a lovely, big park, with a Castle kalled
"Nolhaga Castle", a play-yard for the kids, a zoo with all kinds of
exotic animals such as pigs and donkeys, a mini-golf-court, a rather
big fountain, a mountain with a tower to look at the view, a forest, a
lake called Mjörn, and a center for cleansing sewer water. The water
from the cleansing-center goes out in mjörn, so don't take a bath in
Mjörn either. Well, okay, Mjörn is a nice lake but do not take a swim in
Mjörn if you are near the sewer-water-cleaning-center. /Michael
