The Greatest Film Actor Of All Time

0 Conversations

The greatest film actor in the history of the medium was Charles Laughton. Laughton, a Yorkshireman, had genuine star quality and extraordinary range as highlighted in roles as diverse as (the original and best) Hunchback of Notre Dame, the definitive Captain Bligh, the curmudgeonly Hobson (of Hobson's Choice) and a voracious Henry VIII. He directed just one film, the masterful Night of The Hunter, and is therefore responsible for Robert Mitchum's finest performance.
