Short films I've seen
Created | Updated Jul 13, 2006
Set in 2049 where a society lives either in the day or in the night. Like clerks with a romance and a sci-fi thing going on.
"Japanese Tradition (Sushi)"
Like a public information film for a sushi bar but with a dark twist
"Protest"
Its got elephants in the city jumping off buildings to opera. Animal rights thingy.
"Rail road"
Stop motion so he slides on train tracks, bit funky
"Empire"
The film about the empire state building, the long one.
"Starched"
Very stylish. Like gattaca in the way its shot and feels. Has lesbian subtext (just a bit). Made by the national film and television school interestingly....
"The Subconcious Art Of Graffiti Removal"
Kind of an artistic analysis of unknowing art - raises some interesting questions though by being art in itself - bit of a head messer though.
"Terminal Bar"
Interesting film about a place in new work called the terminal bar, and a photographer who takes pictures of the area/customers and works there. Pretty funky.
*** Structural films - Kurt Kren***
Weird waste of good quality stock by the looks of things...
