A Hamsters Perspective

tive. Our being the other furballs members, Alfie, Torquil, Salem, Maximus and the little baby Moselle.
Living with humans is difficult. There is the language barrier for
starters and getting them to understand that as living breathing creatures we have feelings too.
We are pretty lucky with our humans, we call them mum and dad it is easier that way. We are treated as individuals as people in our own right each with his or her own set of needs.
We are a mixed bag of hamsters with a variety of backgrounds, Max, Moselle and myself came here from choice. Torquil, Salem, Alfie all were rescued from certain death at the hands of a vet by our human mum.
We need space to be ourselves, handled considerately, left alone if we do not to want play, a good healthy diet and company. Our parents spend a lot of time talking to us as they potter around the flat or we have the radio on, classic fm usually. We are loved and looked after and get the best possible care.
