Sars & Pensions

1 Conversation

Has anybody considered the implications of the SARS virus on the Pensions Funds?
If an epidemic were to befall the Europe imagine the effect on the Pensions Industry!
The elderly being particularly susceptible would be the hardest hit, this would give many Pension funds time to recover, as the drain on their funds diminishes. Strange that nobody seems to have mentioned this in the press. Strange that very few alarm bells seem to be ringing. Strange that people in authority seem to be "playing down" the potential danger of SARS.

I wonder how many company's involved or funded by Pension funds and their subsidiaries are contributing to medical research into SARS?

I was just wondering, nothing more....
