Hey Kiltey
excellent entry, I love Dune
One thing you don't mention is that spice is only found on Dune-Arrakis, and cannot be artificially made, hence it's value, and that it is addictive.
but otherwise this is a good explaination of a very complex universe

Thanks helly
(I only just noticed this post as I was editing it once more)
(I keep on getting distracted by other things I need to put in, like I started rewriting the basic synopsis of Dune and I realised I hadn't put in the planetary settings, then I thought I could link to the books and put in links for films and mini series.)
Arrgh it's all too much. And I need that dictionary done and then I could remove quite a few of the footnotes I have had to put in and just refer people to the dictionary (think I'd just do a link on each word that needed definition)
But I am now startign to get manic, and I notice my fingers are battering on the keyboard at a high rate of knots, and I am getting manic, overload overload overload
Key: Complain about this post
